Retrospectives

Bible Verse

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Retrospectives

Throughout my project management certification, my instructor often talks about something called a Retrospective. This is a time set aside after the project to discuss and ponder how the project went and how to amplify successes and minimize mistakes for future projects.

That makes so much sense to me! I look back on major projects such as moving cross-country twice, re-arranging our apartment, changing jobs (and benefits), etc. For many things I wish I would have done a more thorough retrospective and captured more of the details and lessons I learned the first time.

At work, I’ll soon be transitioning from my current job in operations to a project manager for the training department. I’ve already conducted a retrospective with my current supervisor, now I’m going to think about how what I’ve learned in my current role can help me get a head start in my new role.

Let’s all think about the lessons Jesus gave the world. Merry Christmas!
